Brescia University currently administers two student employment programs: one funded by the federal government Federal Work-Study Program (FWS) and the other funded institutionally the Brescia University Work-Study Program (BUWS). Brescia University offers a limited number of work study positions on campus to qualifying students. Any student interested in the Brescia University work study program should contact the Financial Aid Office for further details.
Federal Work-Study (FWS) provides part-time jobs for undergraduate students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay education expenses. The program encourages community service work and work related to the recipient’s course of study. For more information regarding the Federal Work Study program, please visit www.studentaid.ed.gov.

Application and Funding Process
A student applies for student employment at Brescia University by completing a work study application. Each year, the Financial Aid Office is given a limited amount of Federal and University funds to award in the student employment program. This amount varies from year to year. Because of this limitation, it is not always possible to award student employment to all who express interest.
